DOVER-FOXCROFT and SOMERS, N.Y. – Mary Nelson, 91, died April 5, 2007, in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Feb. 3, 1916, in Monessen, Pa., the daughter of Laslo and Mary (Hollei) Svirida. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, Walter Nelson. She will be missed by her children, Carl Nelson and his wife, Beverly, of Topsfield, Mass., and Ingrid Nelson of Bradford. Her energetic spirit lives on in her grandchildren, Katherine and William Brucher and Elissa, Abigail and Alec Nelson. A family memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
