ROCKLAND – Mary Rose Joyce died Saturday, July 8, 2006, surrounded by her family at her home. Mary is survived by her husband, Keryn ap Joyce of Rockland; her son, Ernest J. Kavanagh Jr. of Rockland; her daughter, Kimberley A. Young and her husband, Christopher, of Owls Head and Matinicus; two granddaughters, Madelyn Mary and Audrey Aileen; her mother-in-law, Kathryn Brown of Rockland; five brothers, four sisters and four stepchildren. A service of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 150 Broadway, Rockland. Deacon Robert Cleveland will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland.
