WOODLAND – Maurice J. Corrow, 68, beloved husband of Patricia (Durost) Corrow, died Sept. 19, 2005, at Bangor, after a courageous battle with complications of congestive heart failure. He was born Nov. 5, 1936 at Caribou, the son of Jerome and Marguerite (McLaughlin) Corrow. He was a 1956 graduate of the Caribou High School. Maurice was a long time employee of the Maine Public Service Company, until his retirement in 1996, as a shift supervisor. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a member of the 1st BN 152nd field artillery National Guard. Maurice was a very caring, loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He will be missed so very much by all his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Durost) Corrow of Woodland; one son, Michael M. Corrow and his wife, Belinda, of North Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Cheryl A. Bogan and her husband, Richard “Dick”, of Winterport, and Carmen L. McGlinn and her husband, Andrew “Andy”, of Presque Isle; two brothers, Gregory Corrow and his wife, Ellen, and Bryan Corrow and his wife, Judy, both of Caribou; two sisters, Lucille and her husband, Miles “Harry” Clayton, of Shelburne, Vt. and Marena Lagerstrom of Presque Isle; four sisters-in-law, Carol Clayton and her husband, Earl, of Dover Foxcroft, Betty Osgood of Glenburn, Janice Doyon and her husband, Joe, of Tampa, Fla. and Janet Collins of Belfast; four very special grandchildren, Travis Bogan and his fianc?e, Kasey Bryant of Baltimore, Md., Danielle Patchell and her husband, Norman, of Winterport, and Michael and Laura McGlinn, both of Presque Isle; a very special great-grandson, Colby James Patchell, who was the apple of Grampy’s eye, and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by two very dear friends and neighbors, Dale and Paula Peterson. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Gene Corrow; his mother and father-in-law, Carl and Lillian Durost; and by a brother-in-law, John Lagerstrom. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 23, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Maurice may do so through the American Heart Association, 343 Gorham Rd., South Portland, ME 04106.
