BASS HARBOR – Maurice “Mo” Stanley Rich Jr., 59, died Nov. 9, 2007, in Bass Harbor. He was born March 21, 1948, in Bar Harbor, the son of Maurice Stanley and Vera (Beal) Rich Sr. Mo graduated from Pemetic High School in 1966. He owned and operated C.H. Rich Co., for 20 years and he had a passion for playing golf. Mo is survived by two sons, Sandy W. Rich and Jeffery C. Rich; his companion, Betty Urqhart; her children, Crystal D. Urqhart, Jessica L. Sawyer; her grandson, Gabe McFarland; two brothers, Gerald Rich and Jack Rich; and four grandchildren, Courtney J., Jesse C., Drew A. and Lexi E. Rich. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Charles H. Rich. At Mo’s request, private family services will be held.
