CARMEL – Maxine B. Fogg, 85, wife of the late Linwood E. Fogg, died March 7, 2005, at an Orono healthcare facility. She was born Nov. 19, 1919 in Carmel the daughter of Peley and Edie Mae (Wheeler) Bradford. Maxine worked for many years as a sample stitcher for Kagan Lown Shoe Manufacturing in Bangor. She was a member of the Carmel Union Congregational Church, Etna American Legion Aux. Post No. 7, and a former member of the Holiday Rambler Trailer Club. She is survived by two sons, Bruce E. Fogg of Stetson, Linwood W. Fogg of Carmel; a daughter-in-law, Susan Fogg of Corinth; two sisters, Opal B. Smith of Carmel, Norma Alexander of Scarborough; two brothers, Elwood Bradford and his wife, Carol, of Fort Walton, Fla., Linwood Bradford and his wife, Shirley, of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Susanne and Al Sicignano of Pennsylvania, Sherree Mitchell of Dexter, Sarah and Larry Crowley of Georgia., Kerri Ann St. Peter and her husband, Matthew, of Brewer, Amanda Fogg of Corinth; seven great-grand-children; a special friend, Carlton Crocker of Augusta. In addition to her parents and husband; she was predeceased by a special grandson, Timmy Fogg; two brothers, and two sisters. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Highland Cemetery, Carmel at date and time to be announced A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
