MERLE E CONDON PRESQUE ISLE – Merle E. Condon, 90, died May 29, 2004, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility. He was born April 24, 1914, in Mapleton, the son of Harry and Elizabeth (Naddeau) Condon. He was a potato buyer and shipper in Presque Isle prior to his retirement. Merle was predeceased by his wife, Etta, in 2002. He is survived by two sons, Ronald Condon of Bangor, and Rick Condon of Brewer; two brothers, Delmar and Darwin of Presque Isle; four sisters, Flora Perreault and Geraldine Higgins of Presque Isle, Ardis Boyles of Mapleton, and Audrey Graham of Wade; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Mark Harris officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to the Presque Isle Nursing Home Memorial Fund, 162 Academy St., Presque Isle, ME 04769 or the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, 163 Lancaster St., Portland, ME 04101.
