BREWER – Michael Alan McLeod, 47, died March 6, 2005, at a local nursing home after a long illness. He was born Jan. 4, 1958, in Yokahama, Japan, the son Daniel Earl Jr. and Elsie M. McLeod. Mike grew up and attended schools in Maine. Michael is survived by his mother; a sister, Cathleen Ray, and husband, Steve, of Niceville, Fla.; a twin brother, Patrick McLeod, of Brewer; a brother, Daniel McLeod III, and wife, Nancy, of Pepperell, Mass., and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by special friends, Millie Bowden of Brewer, and Larry McGlauflin, of Bedford, Va. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Brookings-Smith, Clark Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor of St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor, officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from noon until the time of the service, Thursday. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
