BANGOR – Michael Henry Fletcher, 44, passed away March 7, 2005. He was born April 16, 1960, in Augusta, the son of Kenneth E. and Marion (Chapman) Fletcher. Michael grew up in Bangor and was a graduate of Bangor High School, Class of 1978. He had worked for several area trucking companies, and for many years at Bangor Dodge, as a mechanic and salesman. Michael had also worked as a personal care attendant. He was a former member of the Free Spirit Van Club of Bangor and had won several trophies with his van. He is survived by a sister, Heidi Bradley and her husband, William, of Hermon; significant other, Leigh Ann King; four nieces, Shannon, Ashley and Nicole Thompson and Elizabeth Bradley; two nephews, Charles and Gabriel Bradley; one aunt, Gail Tamburo. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Mathew R. Fletcher in 2001; and by an infant son, Mikie. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, with the Rev. Mr. Frederick Harrigan, Deacon of St. Matthew’s and St. Gabriel’s Catholic Churches presiding. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael’s memory care of Heidi L.
