BRIDGEWATER – Mildred A. MacPherson, 91, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Griswold, the daughter of Harry and Julia (Bragg) Ewings Sr. Mildred graduated high school and after graduation married Clarence MacPherson, with whom she would share 70 wonderful years with. Mildred’s family was very important to her and they were an intregal part of her life. She was a longtime member of Bridgewater Full Gospel Assembly. She is survived by two sons, John MacPherson and his wife, Betty, of Bellingham, Mass., and the Rev. Howard MacPherson and his wife, Jean, of Bridgewater; two daughters, Ruth Lint and her husband, Ted, of Mars Hill and Reta Hersey and her husband, Harlan, of Bridgewater; a very special brother-in-law, the Rev. Clair MacPherson of Waxahachie, Texas; two sisters, Reta Ewings of Bridgewater and Birdena Tapley of Linneus, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by three brothers, Harry Jr., Ralph and Adrian; and a sister, Doris Kimball. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Bridgewater Full Gospel Assembly. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Revs. Garren Hanley and Richard Bell; and grandson, Paul MacPherson officiating. Interment will take place after the service at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater.
