SEARSPORT – Mildred D. Thompson, 96, died peacefully Feb. 22, 2008, surrounded by her family at a Belfast hospital. She was born April 30, 1911, in Waterville, the daughter of Archie and Eugenie (Bushey) Bolduc. She was a member of North Searsport United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the prayer group. Mildred enjoyed knitting and crocheting. The love of her life was her family; she looked forward to the gatherings and holidays with them. She is survived by two daughters, Ramona D. King and husband, Steve, of Belfast and Roberta T. Woods of Stockton Springs; one daughter-in-law, Terri Thompson of Hampden; seven grandchildren, Cynthia Cook, Scott Cook, Joyce Curtis and husband, James, Bruce Cook and wife, Cindy, George Woods and wife, Melanie, Lisa Vicnaire and hus-band, Bill, and Kaylee Thompson; 14 great-grandchildren, Chad Penney, Lee Penney Jr., Lisa Littlefield, Priscilla Green-leaf, Nicholas Curtis, Jasper Curtis, Jennifer Cook, Cassandra Cook, Camilla Cook, Bruce Cook Jr., Kristi Woods, Jessica Woods, Michael Woods and Billy Vicnaire; eight great-great- grandchildren, Duncan Mohan, Autumn Littlefield, Brooke Littlefield, Darren Greenleaf Jr., Katie Greenleaf, Penney Green-leaf, Koal Joy and Anthony Hamilton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ramon L. Thompson in 1990; her son, Randy J. Thompson in 2003; son-in-law, Clair Woods in 1998; and 11 brothers and sisters. She was the last of 12 siblings. Visitation for family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at North Searsport United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve MacLeod officiating. Spring interment will be at Grove Cemetery, Belfast.
