GLENBURN – Miles B. Woodard, 55, passed away May 6, 2007, at his home. He was born Jan. 26, 1952, in Bangor, the son of Harold and Lovina (Dow) Woodard. After graduating from Hermon High School in 1969, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines in 1970 and stayed in the service for eight years. He then worked for Sylvania for 15 years and Eldur Corporation for 11 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 211 for 16 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, airplane and tank modeling. He was a very loving husband and caring father. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Harumi “Mimi;” his sons and their wives, John and Jennie, and Matt and Melissa; and his granddaughter, Hana. He will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be private for the family. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
