MILTON P. MAHANEY PRESQUE ISLE – Milton P. Mahaney, 64, died Sunday, June 26, 2005, at his residence. He was born April 1, 1941, at Winterville, the son of Karnith and Bertha (Godin) Mahaney. Milton served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He worked as a self employed carpenter. He is survived by his mother Bertha Mahaney of Presque Isle; his wife, Gerri (Hebert) Mahaney of Presque Isle; three sons and their wives, Robert and Gail of Presque Isle, Jeffrey and Lisa of Alton, Nathan and Hildegard of Salt Lake City, Utah; a daughter, Robin Doody and her husband, Dean, of Presque Isle; a sister, Ada Lois Alvarez and her husband, Fred, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his father; two brothers, Kenneth and Karnith “Butch” Mahaney. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday July 1, 2005, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Alfred Irving, officiating. A reception will follow the service at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
