LIMESTONE – Morel Michaud, 85, of Limestone and formerly of New Brunswick died peacefully May 23, 2005, at Borderview Manor, Van Buren. He was the husband of the late Joan Corbin and son of the late Edmund Michaud and Hattie (Beaulieu) Michaud. In his early years he served in the Canadian military. He moved to the United States 42 years later and worked for local farmers and processing plants. He is survived by son, Gilles Michaud of Limestone; two daughters, Denise Gagnon (Carl) of Fort Fairfield and Francine Johnston (Charles) of Fenton, Mich.; one grandson; four granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; one brother, Roland, of Van Buren; three sisters, Lucille Beaulieu and Rita Marcotte of Saint-Placide, Quebec and Therese Michaud of Bellefeuille, Quebec; several nieces and nephews. Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. His funeral will be Thursday, May 26th at 4:30 p.m. from the St-Leonard-Parent Roman Catholic Church. www.oregans.ca
