CARMEL and BANGOR – Morgan L. Gathercole, 24, died accidentally May 6, 2006, as the result of a vehicle fire in Township 30 near Wesley. He was born March 15, 1982, at Anchorage, Alaska, a son of Steven and Rachel (Brown) Gathercole. Morgan was employed as a private construction contractor. He is survived by his mother, Rachel; and stepfather, Lawrence Littlefield of Carmel; his maternal grandparents, David and Barbara Brown of Troy; a brother, Joseph Gathercole of Carmel; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Morgan was predeceased by his father, Steven in February 2000. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, at the Carmel Union Congregational Church with Pastor Burt Williams officiating.
