BELFAST – Muriel H. Hall, 79, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, with her loving family by her side, at Tall Pine Rehab & Living Center. She was born Nov. 9, 1928, in Camden, the daughter of Hale W. and Lola M. (Hills) Handley. Muriel graduated from Cam-den High School in 1946. She went on to attend Westbrook and Becker Junior Colleges. On Mach 9, 1950, she married Robert A. Hall in Kittery Point. Muriel is survived by her former husband, Robert A. Hall of Belfast; a daughter, Deborah Sweetland and her husband, Zenas Brown, of Waldo; a son, Charles Hall and his wife, Shirlee, of Belfast; a granddaughter, Tammy Sweetland; and a grandson, Timothy Sweetland and his wife, Sandra; as well as five great-grandchildren, Krystofer, Anthony, Tristan, Krysta-Sky and Connor; and several very special friends, Marilyn Richard-son, James, from Dr. Morgan’s office and Irene Riley. “Tho’ your smile is gone forever and your hand I cannot touch. I will never lose sweet memories of the one I loved so much. My memories are my keepsakes with which I will never part. God has you in His keeping; I have you in my heart.” In addition to her parents, Muriel was predeceased by her twin brother and sister, Frank and Florence; as well as two great-grandchildren, Bryan Linwood and Rebekah Jean Sweetland. At Muriel’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Muriel’s memory may be made to Debbie Sweetland, 1220 Waldo Station Road, Waldo, ME 04915, for the benefit of Mur-iel’s great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 31 West Main St., Searsport.
