MUSA A. STILES BRIDGEWATER – Musa A. Stiles, 84, died Tuesday night March 6, 2007, at Houlton Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Blaine, the daughter of Bessie MacKinnon Burlock. Prior to her retirement, Musa worked at Madigan Memorial Hospital as a pediatric nurse. She enjoyed watching the cooking shows on TV, reading and spending time with her cat “Kiti.” She is survived by three children, a son, Merrill Stiles and his wife, Roberta, of Bridgewater; two daughters, Darlene Grass and her husband, R. Robert, of Oakland, Gracie Gray and her husband, Ernest, of Newport; two sisters, Ruth Foss and her husband, Lindsey, of Baileyville and Pauline Burlock of Princeton; 10 grandchildren, Jeb Stiles and his wife, Shelby, of Blaine, Kimmy McGeoghan and her husband, Philip, of Carmel, Wanda Lavoie and her husband, Mark, of Somersworth, N.H., Leisa Collins and her husband, Charles, of Portland, Zachary Ashton of Los Angeles, Stacey Power and her husband, Mark, of New Gloucester, Nicholas Grass and his wife, Julee, of Vassalboro, Scott Gray and his wife, Cyndi, of Newport, Susan Condon and her husband, Will, of Newport and Shelley Gray of Waterville; 17 great-grand-children, Lucas, Garrett, Ethan and Joseph Stiles, Jessica and Alan Lawrence, Blair, Kyle and Danielle Mahan, Brittany and Drew Case, Aidan Collins, Sabrina Caramando, Cameron and Madison Grass, Jordyn and Kiersten Condon. Musa was predeceased by her husband, George Albert Stiles, in June 2001; her mother, Bessie Burlock; and a brother, Allen Burlock. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Duncan Funeral Home, Main Street, Mars Hill, with the Rev. Robert Vaughn officiating. Those who wish may donate in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
