SORRENTO – Nancy Lee Trundy, 65, died Dec. 27, 2007, at a Boston hospital. She was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Bath, the daughter of Alvah and Elizabeth M. (Hooper) Butler. Nancy’s greatest joy was taking care of other people, as well as her own family. She took great pride in her home and her flowers. Nancy enjoyed traveling and spending time in Florida with her sister. She is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Frank “Buddy” Trundy Jr. of Sorrento; two sons, George Hammond Jr. of Lamoine and Gregory Trundy of Hancock; five daughters, Sherri McDevitt and her husband, Stanley, of Franklin, Debra Young and her husband, Leonard, of Corea, Wendy Hammond of Franklin, Sally Taylor of Machiasport and Lisa Trundy of South Portland; one brother, Russell Gordon and wife, Beth, of Sullivan; one sister, Florence Scott of Florida; stepbrothers, Gerald Gordon and wife, Betty, of East Sullivan and Kendall Gordon and wife, Pat, of Brewer; a stepsister, Janice Hos-king and husband, Hank, of Sullivan; 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by friends, Joanne Sargent and Terry Linscott. Nancy was predeceased by two brothers, Gerry Butler and Randy Gordon. Friends are invited to call 1-3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. Graveside services will be announced in the spring.
