SILVER RIDGE and ARUNDEL – Nathan Kristin Grass died peacefully May 24, 2008, in his father’s arms at Maine Medical Center, Portland. He was born May 1, 2008, to Frank and Shannon (Olson) Grass III. Nathan’s ability to fight the odds gave everyone renewed hope. He enriched many lives and his spirit will live on his families’ hearts. In addition to his parents of Arundel, he is survived by grandparents, Rick and Christy Hall of Mount Chase and Frank and Melissa Grass Jr. of Silver Ridge; two special uncles, Andrew Olson of Mount Chase and Joshua Grass of Silver Ridge; several great-grand-parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Nathan will be sadly missed by all. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Kristin Dudley Olson. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls, with the Rev. Donnis Willigar officiating. Interment will be at Silver Ridge Cemetery.
