HAMPDEN – Norma (Voisine) Bouchard, 69, passed away in her sleep Nov. 3, 2005, at her home in Hampden. She was born May 11, 1936, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Alford and Regina (Saucier) Voisine. Norma lived in Hampden for many years where she was a communicant of St. Matthews Catholic Church. She devoted her life to her children, and loved spending time with them. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Norma was usually busy doing something for one of them, and was always eager to help with any projects they may have. Her favorite pastimes were gardening and caring for her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Norma also had a very special relationship with her sister Patricia. They had many great times together during Pat’s frequent visits. She will be remembered for her faith, love, and devotion to her family. Norma is survived by her children, Brian H. Bouchard and his wife, Renee, of Hampden, Brenda L. Walsh and her husband, Mark, of Hampden and Christine M. Bouchard of Bangor; her sister, Patricia Dierst and her husband, John, of Bellingham, Mass.; two brothers, Carroll Voisine and his wife, Kathy, of Fort Myers, Fla. and Howard Voisine and his wife, Vivian, of Fort Kent; her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, Jason Bouchard and his two sons, Christopher and Jonathan, Jeffrey Bouchard, Kevin Dunham and his wife, Michelle, Benjamin Chamberlain, Janice Walsh and James Walsh; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother, Arnold Voisine, from Fort Kent. Visiting hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 70 Western Ave., Hampden, with the Rev. Bob Vaillancourt, Pastor Celebrant.
