WINTERVILLE and SOUTH PARIS – Norman J. Daigle, 63, beloved husband of Arlene (Pinette) Daigle, died Dec. 20, 2004, at a Portland hospital. He was born May 30, 1941, in Winterville, the son of David and Yvonne (Raymond) Daigle. Norman was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Council No. 0352 of Fort Kent, and the Rod & Gun Club of Eagle Lake. Norman enjoyed the time he spent in the woods with his brother, Danny. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Daigle of South Paris; three children, Brenda Dionne of Biddeford, Paul Daigle Sr. of Altonna, Pa., and Sandra Holden of South Paris; his brothers and sisters, Rosalie Kordek of Plainville, Conn., Guilford Daigle of Caribou, Isabelle Saucier of Presque Isle, Daniel and Rosaire Daigle, both of Winterville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Willard Daigle; one sister, Joan Lyons. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Thursday until time of departure for Eagle Lake. A Mass of Christian burial with full 4th Degree Honors will be celebrated 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake, with the Rev. Bill Labbe officiating.
