HAMPDEN – Norman S. Willey, 80, husband of Margaret (Harper) Willey, died Nov. 10, 2004 at a Bangor healthcare center. He was born June 1, 1924, in Steuben, the son of Roy S. and Florence A. (Woodward) Willey. Norman was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II serving in the European Theatre. He worked for New England Telephone Co. for more than 30 years. Surviving in addition to his wife of 51 years of Hampden are four children, Linda Willey of Ohio, Lance Willey of Florida, Lesley Moose of Hampden and Scott Howard of Old Town. Friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bangor. In lieu of flowers, gestures of remembrance may be made to a charity of choice.
