MILLINOCKET – Norman W. “Butch” Patchell, 58, died unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003. He was born Dec. 5, 1944, in Norfolk, Va., the son of Norman and Elouise (Biggins) Patchell. Norman had just recently moved to Millinocket to be closer to family after spending many years working in different parts of the country. He is survived by his mother of Bowdoinham; six children, Linda, Karen, Norman, Timmy, Michelle, and Lisa; two brothers, Paul and his wife, Linda Patchell, of Woodville, Gary and wife, Anita Patchell, of Bowdoinham; three sisters, Barbara and husband Charlie Gray of Brownville Junction, Donna and husband, George Doering, of Bowdoinham, and Gale Patchell of Pittsfield; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Billy. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at Millinocket Cemetery with the Rev. Rudy Homchuck officiating. Following the graveside services, family and friends are invited to the home of Paul and Linda Patchell for refreshments and fellowship. Arrangements by R. L.
