HOLDEN and WEST ENFIELD – Olga Elizabeth Fickett, 91, wife of the late Everett M. Fickett, died Feb. 29, 2004, at a Brewer healthcare facility. She was born March 24, 1912, in Lincoln, the daughter of Samuel B. and Emma A. (Currie) Lancaster. Olga worked for many years at Forster Mfg. Co., Inc. in Mattawamkeag. She spent much time writing letters and cards to her many friends, and really enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the West Enfield Baptist Church most of her life, and in recent years, attended the Holden Congregational Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ladonna and Leonel Proulx of Holden; a grandson, Scott Everett Proulx and his wife, Karen, of Holden; a granddaughter, Denise and her husband, Clifford Jones, of Clifton; two great-grandchildren, Samuel Jones of Clifton, and Noah Everett Proulx of Holden; a sister, Opal Dinsmore of Lynn, Mass; one niece; three nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Katherine Fiske officiating. Spring interment will be in West Enfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to West Enfield Baptist Church, Holden Congregational Church, or Hospice of Eastern Maine. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
