CARIBOU – Olive L. Everett, 77, wife of the late Thomas Everett, died Oct. 15, 2006, at Houlton. She was born Aug. 26, 1929, in Caribou, the daughter of Theodore and Jennie (Little) Patterson. Mrs. Everett was employed by several area hotels for a number of years. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She is survived by her children, Betty Ann Fortin and her husband, Arthur, Jenny Rafford and her husband, Ronnie, George Everett and his wife, Carol, all of Caribou and Sue Smart and her husband, Ken, of Salona, Pa.; one brother, Theodore Patterson; one sister, Hazel Hershey, both of Limestone; eight grandchildren, Betty Jean Currie and her husband, Ernie, Lynn Fortin, Arthur Fortin Jr. and his wife, Charlotte, Wallace Everett, Melissa Rafford, Susan Hanson and her husband, Erik, Thomas Everett and Angela Marie Brissette; nine great-grandchildren, Cassie and Stephanie Currie, David Smith, Alicia and Josh Fortin, Melinda Rafford, Jennifer Hanson, Armand and Steve Brissette; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. Anna Beach officiating.
