WASHBURN – Ona K. Cameron, 84, died Nov. 10, 2004, at a Caribou healthcare facility. She was born May 23, 1920, in Washburn, the daughter of Roy and Fern (Lovely) Ballard. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Washburn. She graduated from Washburn High School. Mrs. Cameron worked with her mother-in-law Olive Allen in a maternity home in Washburn and later retired from McCains Foods. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Allen of Emerald Isle, N.C.; a sister, Jo Rene Crossman of Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren, Susan Golding of Greenville, N.C. and Sharil Cass of Hancock, N.H.; two great-grandchildren, one niece; two great-nieces and one great-nephew. She was predeceased by two husbands, Vincent Allen and Robert Cameron Sr. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Bruce Blakney and the Rev. John Palmer officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service. Spring interment will be in Crouseville Cemetery, Crouse-ville.
