ST. AGATHA – Patricia Chasse, 81, died July 20, 2005, at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born April 15, 1924, in Van Buren, the daughter of Ernest and Malzite (Morneault) Ouellette. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 145 of Frenchville, Ladies of St. Anne, worked for the Daughters of Wisdom and the St. Joseph Nursing Home from 1977 to 2002 as head of the laundry department. She is survived by five sons and their wives, Laurel (Piton) of Madawaska, Richard “Pete” and Francoise of Lewiston, Gerald and Shirley of Virginia, Jim and Rolande of Frenchville and Bill and his fianc?e, Lisa St. Onge, of Lac Baker; three daughters, Marie Jean and her husband, Lee Sanford, of Arizona, Judy Sutton of Ellington, Conn. and Joyce of West Palm Beach; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Azilda Brown of Madawaska, Thelma and her husband, Gilbert Chamberland, of Enfield, Conn.; half stepsisters and half stepbrothers, Gerald Ouellette of Lewiston, Ernie Ouellette of Sidney, Raymond Ouellette of Lewiston, Lorraine Leopard of Austin, Minn., Geraldine Lapointe of Lewiston, Jerry Ouellette of Burton and John Ouellette. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert “Bert” Chasse in 1968. Friends and relatives may call 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha, and 9 a.m. Monday until the time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial in the St. Agatha Lower Cemetery. For those who desire donations may be made to the Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund and Area Agency on Aging. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
