ORONO – Patricia (Martin) Cox, 92, wife of the late Harold Cox, died Sept. 25, 2004, after a brief illness at Bangor Health Facility. She was born in Houlton, April 22, 1912, the daughter of Charles A. and Elizabeth (Schools) Martin. She had been a weaver in the Ounegan Woolen Mill in Old Town for many years. She retired from the Lily Tulip Company in Old Town. She enjoyed family gatherings and taking trips at any opportunity. She particularly enjoyed visiting her eldest granddaughter, Patricia and Charles Wray when they lived in California, Rhode Island and Connecticut. She is survived by her son, Charles and his wife, Anita Cox of Orono and her daughter, Lorraine Dunn of Old Town; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Cox of Orrington and by her nephew, Bradley Martin of Florida. She is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her children, Lester Cox, Mary Campo, James Cox, and Paula Wachdorf, her brother, Charles Martin and his wife, Ruth, and grandchildren, Adam MaGinn, Michael Wachdorf and Patrick Dunn. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Brookings-Smith, LaBeau Chapel, 72 Main St., Orono. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary’s Church, Orono with the Rev. Joseph Koury, pastor, celebrant. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Orono.
