CARIBOU – Patricia Plourde, 84, died Oct. 7, 2007, in Caribou. She was born Aug. 10, 1923, in Caribou, the daughter of Victor and Rose (Longley) Bouchard. She was a graduate of Caribou High School. She was employed at Birdseye Division of General Foods for many years. Patricia married Gilbert Plourde, Dec. 29, 1942. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pat was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed life to the fullest by having her family by her side. Bingo, playing cards and family gatherings were her joys in life. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by four sons, Darrell Plourde and his wife, Gail, Dale Plourde and his wife, Glenda, Larry Plourde and his wife, Nola, all of Caribou and Ronald Plourde and his wife, Linda, of Derry, N.H.; four daughters, Sharon Plou-rde, Vicki Cowett and her husband, Roland, and Tammie Plourde, all of Caribou and Sandra Cyr and her husband, Brian, of Salem, N.H.; one brother, Dale Bouchard of Madawaska Lake; three sisters, Lorina Bouchard of Caribou, Joyce Ouellette and her husband, Edward, and Debbie Cyr and her husband, Dave, both of Madawaska Lake; 12 grandchildren, Scott Plourde, Shelley Sund, Michelle Rideout, Andrea Richmond, Jennifer Cyr, Jenny Theriault, Shawn Plourde, Leslie MacDonald, Joey Cowett, Jason Plourde, Aaron Cyr and Jared Cyr; 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert, June 20, 1992; a brother, Ralph Bouchard; and a sister, Mavis Plourde. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father David Ray-mond, associate pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian burial.
