PRESQUE ISLE – Paul A. Gagnon, 72, died Aug. 30, 2006, at a Mars Hill health care facility. He was born Nov. 11, 1933, in Presque Isle, the son of Henry S. and Christine (Beaulieu) Gagnon. Paul graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1951. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where he sang in the choir for many years. He had been employed as a certified nurse’s aide in Mars Hill for several years. Paul enjoyed music, painting, the theater, traveling and was a member of the Choral Society for a few years. He is survived by his brother, Patrick Gagnon and his wife, Reta, of Presque Isle; two sisters, Constance A. Gagnon of Presque Isle and Maxine Thompson and her husband, Gary, of Nipono, Calif.; four nieces, Michelle Cronin and her husband, Brian and their daughter, Brittany, of Presque Isle, Patricia Gagnon and her partner, Virginia Cody, of Raymond, Stephanie Reeves and her husband, John and their sons, Connor and Johnny, of Skowhegan, Janice Grover and her sons, Andrew and Christopher, of LaJolla, Calif. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a great- nephew, Matthew. Memorial services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Relatives and friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s North Main Street Cemetery.
