MADAWASKA – Paul L. Ouellette, 65, died May 9, 2005, at an Edmundston, N.B., Canada hospital. He was born Jan. 4, 1940, in Madawaska, the son of Leo and Alvine (Clavette) Ouellette. Paul was a nature and animal lover as well as being an avid fisherman and hunter. His greatest love was helping his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Verla (Bernier) Ouellette of Madawaska; two sons, Brian of Woolrich Shawn of Yarmouth; two daughters, Sheila Lizotte of Fort Kent, Tracie Desjardins and her husband, Scott, of Soldier Pond; one brother, Dr. Richard Ouellette and his wife, Suzanne, of Edmundston, N.B.; two sisters, Claudette Northup and her husband, Gerald, of Madawaska, Linda Winkle and her husband, Bob, of Allentown, Pa.; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time of the services on Friday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
