HOWLAND – Paul R. Campbell, 68, husband of Louise (Crocker) Campbell, died March 10, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 30, 1936, in Morristown, Tenn., the son of Albert and Elsie Campbell. Paul grew up in Tennessee and was a graduate of Morristown High School, where he took part in ROTC. He served in the U.S. Army, traveled in Europe and belonged to the Army Sharpshooters Group. Paul loved hunting and fishing and raised beautiful flowers. He enjoyed feeding his birds and his home on Seboeis stream. He will be so missed by his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Louise; he is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Easley; and a son, Bill and Viola Campbell all of Kingsport, Tenn.; two stepdaughters, Rhonda and Ken Taylor of Lincoln and Darlene and Jose Soto of Anchorage, Alaska; three grandchildren, Lee, Trey and Natalia; a brother, Clyde Campbell; and a sister, Barbara Black, both of Morristown, Tenn., several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Michael Campbell; and a brother, Clay Campbell. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road. Lincoln. A graveside service will be held in the spring, at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee.
