MADAWASKA – Paul Sirois, 85, died Dec. 10, 2003, at a Frenchville health care facility. He is now living his Fifth Day. He was born April 19, 1918, in Madawaska, the son of Theodule and Elise (Hebert) Sirois. He was married to Lorette Langdo for 64 years and they had 19 children. He is survived by eight daughters, Joanne Papolio of East Hartford, Conn., Jacqueline Michaud and Carol Rossignol both of Frenchville, Claudette Levesque of Madawaska, Janice Bellefleur and Jean Ann Pelletier, both of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, Patricia Crandall of New Freedom Trail, Pa., Diana Sirois of San Francisco, Calif.; six sons, Donald of New Britain, Conn., Roland of Plainville, Conn., Gerald of Madawaska, Paul Jr. of St. Agatha, James of Bangor, Claude of Lampac, Calif.; one sister, Delia Lagasse of Madawaska; 51 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Lorette in 2001; five sons, Maurice, Lionel, Philip, Richard and Robert; and by one brother, Lucien. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Friday and from 12 p.m. until time of services on Saturday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
