BURLINGTON – Pauline Grace (Whitney) Smith, 64, wife of Ronald Smith, died March 26, 2005, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Lincoln, the daughter of Alton and Velma (Littlefield) Whitney. Pauline enjoyed animals, being outside, traveling, family and friends, but the light of her life was her grandson, Shane. In addition to her husband, Ronald, she is survived by three children, Travis Chase of Lincoln, Patty Mulligan of Webster and John Chase of Burlington; a brother, Harold Whitney of Georgia; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, a sister, a daughter and a grandson. Graveside services will be held later in the spring at Mt.
