HULLS COVE – Pauline M. Strout, 85, died Feb. 19, 2005, at a Bar Harbor healthcare facility. She was born May 19, 1919, in Wesley daughter of Fred O. and Hazel Calor Roberts. Pauline is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Edwin Strout; two sons, Raymond E. Strout of Bar Harbor and Edwin A. Strout Jr. and his wife, Lillieth, of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Sandra Rodick of Bar Harbor; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara. Pauline enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting and her cooking. She was a member of The Episcopal Church of Our Father, Hulls Cove and was a leader of the church auxiliary for several years. She was a Sunday school teacher for 15 years. Friends are invited to call 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at the Jordan-Fernald Funeral Chapel, 48 Eden St., Bar Harbor. Graveside services will be held in the spring.
