FORT PIERCE, Fla. and OLD TOWN – Pauline Phyllis West passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at the age of 83. She graduated from Andover High School, New Brunswick, Canada, Class of 1938, and attended the University of Maine as a psychology major. Surviving are sons, Terry West of Orange Park, Fla., Victor West of Alford, Fla., and Christopher West of Fort Pierce, Fla.; daughter, Sheree (nee West) Spears of Deltona, Fla.; brothers, Eugene Sockbeson and John Sockbeson, of Marathon, N.Y., and Edward Sockbeson of Lawton, Okla.; sisters, Barbara (Curren) Bishop of California, Carol (Sockbeson) Frances of Rutland, Vt., and Sylvia (Sockbeson) Polchies, of Bangor; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was predeceaed by her husband of 56 years, Frank O. West; and a son, Frank O. West Jr. Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home.
