LISBON – Paxton Wesley Hamel was born Nov. 18, 2006, and went into God’s hands on the same day. Paxton was the precious son of Melissa Grant Hamel, formerly of Bar Harbor, and Wesley C. Hamel, formerly of Hampden. Though Paxton was only here for a very short amount of time, he was a ray of light in the lives of his families and will be forever in their hearts. Paxton is survived by his parents, Melissa and Wesley Hamel; grandparents, Jan and George Merchant, Pamela and Charles Hamel and Glenn and Rene Grant. Paxton will be loved and missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Seal Harbor Cemetery.
