CHERRYFIELD – Philip H. Fleming Sr., 60, died Feb. 4, 2004 at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of John and Melba Fleming. Phil worked at Cherryfield Foods for 14 years and was currently working as a security guard at Wyman’s Blueberry in Cherryfield and Deblois. He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Woodworth) Fleming of Cherryfield; two sons, Philip Fleming and his wife, Karen, of Orlando, Fla., and Steve Fleming and his wife, Janet, of Grove City, Ohio; one daughter, Suzie Fleming of Columbus, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Amy Hall of Steuben; six grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Frasch and her husband, Bill, of Bexley, Ohio, Dorothy Taylor and her husband, Pete, of Worthington, Ohio, and Mary Deffenbaugh of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, John W. Fleming Jr. of Battleground, Wash.; several nieces and nephews. Phil will also be remembered by his mother-in-law, Sadie Woodworth of South Gouldsboro and two special friends, Victor Tenan and Dennis Colson. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the Unionville Church of God, Unionville Road, Steuben. There will be no visiting hours. Internment will be in the spring at the Bunker Memorial Cemetery, South Gouldsboro.
