BLUE HILL – Phillip Allen Guy, 69, died Jan. 31, 2006, at his home in Blue Hill, following a brief illness. He was born Aug. 5, 1936, in Danville, Ill., son of Willis Edward and Lena Murrell (Hart) Guy. In 1979, He moved from Travers City, Mich. to Blue Hill, where he practiced architecture for many years. He was extremely active in the Boy Scouts of America, served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed restoring his Model A car. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Pearson) Guy of Blue Hill; two sons, Brendan Guy and Jason Guy, both of New York, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many in-laws and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Patricia (Guy) Kimel. A service of remembrance will be held in the spring at a time to be announced by the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
