MILFORD – Phyllis Ann Boyington, 85, passed away Sept. 4, 2007, after a long struggle. She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Auburn, the daughter of Walter and Gertrude (Merrill) Jordan. Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl Boyington; a son, Craig Boyington; a daughter, Nancy Runnells; and a brother, Floyd Jordan. She is survived by a daughter, Carla Soucie and husband, Peter, of Milford; a sister, Shirley Madden of Worcster, Conn.; four grandchildren, Nathan Runnells, Marcy Runnells, Amy Emerson, and Samantha Soucie; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hammond Street, Bangor, with Rev. Robert Treadwell officiating.
