WOODLAND (AROOSTOOK COUNTY) – Phyllis E. Wilcox, 85, died Dec. 8, 2004, at her Woodland residence. She was born Aug. 21, 1919, at Caribou, the daughter of Harvey and Flora (Ells) Smith. She was a graduate of the Masardis high school and was a loving and devoted mother to her family. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Gail Wilcox of Woodland; two sisters, Helen Philbrook of Woodland and Lois Anderson of Caribou; two grandsons, Keith and Paul Wilcox. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Quigley in 1951; by a son, Stanley Quigley; and by four daughters, Bonnie, Betty, and Donna Quigley and Eileen Wilcox; and a sister, Marcella Cheviot. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, until time of services. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Goupille, officiating. Spring interment will take place in the Woodland Cemetery.
