LINCOLN – Phyllis Gerry, 84, wife of the late Clayton Gerry, died unexpectedly March 16, 2006, at a Lincoln hospital, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Bangor, the daughter of Gordon and Effie (Ellis) Arsenault. She graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in 1940 and was in the Army Air Force during World War II. She is survived by two sons, Christopher of Irvington, N.Y. and Wesley of Iowa City, Iowa; and a grandson, Eric of Schenectady, N.Y. At her request, there will be no services.
