DANFORTH – Evelyn Grace Harriman, 94, wife of the late Charles E. Harriman, died March 16, 2006, at a Houlton hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1912, in Danforth, a daughter of Bradford G. and Goldie Tapley (Golding-Cowen). She was a lifelong member of the Jacksonville Grange. She is survived by a son, Dean D. Clark and his wife, Leah, of Norwich, Conn.; a brother, Arey and his wife, Elizabeth Golding, of Danforth; a sister, Mary Irish of Bancroft; four grandchildren, Dean, Billy and Tammy Clark and Deanna Steward, all of Michigan; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, John; and two sisters, Phyliss Springer and Charlotte Wright. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the New Cutler Cemetery in Cutler, with the Rev. Leon Robinson officiating.
