ALBION – Phyllis “Nan” MacDonald went home to be with the Lord and her husband, Kenny, Oct. 23, 2006, at home in Albion. Phyllis will be remembered for all the love and care she gave to her family. She was a selfless, caring individual who always put family first. Phyllis loved to spend time painting, writing prayers, and watching the Sox with her daughter, Dyna. She also enjoyed Erskine and Lawrence athletics, spending many nights at various gyms with Shara. Some of her favorite times were spent drinking tea with her daughter, Rena and with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family members who will miss her terribly are Dyna Curtis, Rena and Barney Keenan, Shara MacDonald, Launa Keenan, Mark and Kim Curtis, Beth and Dan Chesley, Bernie and Lorie Keenan; her great-grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Harley, Lily, Karly, Maggie, Seb, and Brynna; special friends, Gail, Tom, Will and Jess Bucklin, Muriel and Ken Otis. Also very special to Phyllis was her sister, Gloria Burrill. A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be held 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Knox Ridge Baptist Church with dear friend, Stephen Nute, presiding. There will be a private committal Saturday at Gracelawn Memorial Cemetery, Auburn.
