DIXMONT – Randy Charles Johnson Sr., 46, died March 6, 2007, after a long battle with a terminal illness at his residence. He was born Aug. 23, 1960, in Bangor, the son of Robert S. and Gloria (Green) Troup. Randy worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center for 15 years as a shuttle bus supervisor and security guard. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Joni (Franklin) Johnson of Dixmont; children, Jillian Terrill and husband, Derick, of Plymouth, Randy Johnson Jr. of Portland and Joshua Johnson of Dixmont; sisters, Barbara Hamlin and husband, Reynold, of Bangor, Vicki Bubar and husband, Sid, of Bradford, Cindy Lorenzo and husband, Fred, of Virginia and Janet Johnson of Washington; nieces and nephews, Naomi, Becky, Mark, Dustin, Amanda, Dawn and Sara; brother-in-law, John and Leona Franklin of Bangor; sisters-in-law, Cindy McCarty of Tennessee and Jenna Payne of Virginia. A memorial reception will be held 3-5 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the Plymouth Grange Hall. Interment will be the spring at Mount Hope Cemetery.
