F.N. ‘RICK’ RICHARDS ORRINGTON – F.N. “Rick” Richards, 73, died March 6, 2007, at a local rehabilitation facility after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 25, 1933, in Greenville, the son of Frederick C. and Villa E. (Squiers) Richards. He graduated from Greenville High School, Class of 1952. Rick then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a local musician for many years and retired from General Electric after more than 25 years of service. Rick was a lifetime member of the BPOE No. 244 of Bangor, and a longtime member of the FOE No. 3177 of Brewer. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita (Russell) Richards; and a son, F.N. “Ricky” Richards Jr. Surviving are two sons, Glenn A. Richards and his wife, Laurie, of Glenburn and Jon R. Richards of Bangor; daughter-in-law, Judy Richards of Bangor; son, Mikel S. Richards and his wife, Jean, of Holden; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two devoted caregivers, Neil and Corey. Rick will be sadly missed by his dear friend, Anna Farace of Baltimore.
