DEER ISLE – Raymond T. Taylor, 82, died Thursday, May 12, 2005, at a Deer Isle health care facility. He was born Jan. 17, 1923, in Old Orchard, the son of Harold and Elvie L. (McLean) Taylor. Raymond is survived by two nieces, Linda Closson of Stonington, and Judy Shepard and her husband, Barry, of Deer Isle; four nephews, David Taylor and his wife, Tanya, of Deer Isle, Robert Wheaton and his wife, Annette, of Little Deer Isle, Richard Wheaton of Stonington, and Ronald Wheaton and his wife, Donna, of Stonington; and several great- nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Mount Rest Cemetery, Airport Road, Stonington. Arrangements are by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Stonington.
