BREWER and BRADENTON, Fla. – Reginald L. Estes, 77, died Nov. 26, 2007, at a Ban-gor hospital. He was born May 5, 1930, in Brewer, the son of Leland D. and Virginia E. (Murphy) Estes. Reginald was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He had been a resident of Maine Veterans’ Home, Machias, for the past year and a half and had previously lived in Bradenton, Fla., for the past 30 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge and Anah Temple Shrine, Bangor; and also a member of the Teamsters Union. Surviving are three children, Linda Niles and her husband, Kevin of Kittery Point, Deborah Robichaud and her husband, Dwayne, and Wayne and his wife, Dee; six grandchildren, Jason, Kevin Jr., Kelly, Jared, Tyler and Matthew; one great-grandchild, Colin Niles; one brother, Harry Estes and his wife, Shirley, of Brewer; two nephews, Ronald Estes and his wife, Beverly, of Old Town, and Harry Estes III and his wife, Susan, of Brewer; and several cousins. He will be remembered by a dear friend, Eleanor of Machias. Private burial will be at Harts Corner Cemetery, Holden.
