FORT KENT and SOLDIER POND – Rena D. Bouchard, 76, died June 20, 2007, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Oct. 29, 1930, in New Canada, the daughter of Josephel and Mary Jane (Rossignol) Theriault. Rena was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, Wallagrass. Her favorite pastimes were cooking and spending time with her family and friends, her door was open for everyone, always with open arms. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by four sons, James and his wife, Nicole, of Soldier Pond, David and his wife, Mona, of Fort Kent, Allen and his wife, Carmen, of Soldier Pond and Philip of Presque Isle; two daughters, Mary Ann and her husband, Joel Desjardins, of Fort Kent and Leisa Bouchard of Fort Kent; grandchildren, Derek, Robby, T.J., Mathew, Benjamin and Daneille; one great-grandson, Adam Ouellette; brothers and sisters, Theresa Nadeau, Priscilla Bouchard, Cecilia Bouchard, all of Connecticut, Roger Theriault and Gilmay Daigle of New Canada. In addition to both parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alberie “Guy” Bouchard in 2000; brothers and sisters, Donald Theriault, Jeannette Bouchard, Elmer Theriault and Carlene Dominique. Friends may call 7 a.m. until time of departure for Soldier Pond Monday at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Soldier Pond. Committal service will be held after at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Soldier Pond.
