MILLINOCKET – Rex A. Hartley, 70, husband of the late Beverly Ann (Mackin) Hartley, died unexpectedly Oct. 31, 2007, in Millinocket. He was born Jan. 15, 1937, in Millinocket, the son of Ralph and Verna (Hamilton) Hartley. Rex enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and taking rides. Surviving are four sons, Harold Hartley of Lewiston, Scott Hartley and Starr of Veazie, Steven Hartley and his wife, Lisa, and Peter Hartley and his wife, Kim, all of Millinocket; two brothers, Paul Hartle and Ralph Hartley Jr. and his wife, Yvonne, both of Millinocket; one sister, Jennie Brunette and her husband, Richard, of Norcross; grand-children, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Millinocket Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field St., Millinocket, ME 04462.
