FORT KENT – Rex A. Jalbert, 79, died peacefully Dec. 27, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. He was born Aug. 4, 1926, in St. Francis, the son of Sam and Delia (Jandreau) Jalbert. He is survived by five brothers, Maynard of Presque Isle, Patrick of Allagash, Phil of St. John, Ray of Fort Kent and George of Wallagrass; three sisters, Gloria McGreal of Portland, Lorraine Rhodes of Bangor and Elizabeth Pecoraro of Fort Kent and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, until time of service at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be May 11, 2006, in the parish cemetery.
